We’re expecting our first in a little over two months so I’m getting a bunch of qualified well wishes, and wanted to wish you all a great day as well! What are you doing today to celebrate?
That’s a great setup by the sounds of it. I’m a remote worker, so I can be dad-on-demand if needed, but I do have to focus on actual work most of the time, so my kids are in school/child care.
I try hard to be a decent human; I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with a lot of shitty individuals in my younger years. They served as good inspiration, I suppose. I’m fortunate that only the caustic sense of humour from that cohort has seemed to rub off on me, and nothing else.
My day is going quite well, too. Thanks for asking. Hope yours is going great.
