I had lost a lot of faith in it following the COVID debacle, I would just look to the WHO and what other countries are doing. Tragically, these institutions aren’t allowed to be independent of politics, and it only undermines trust in science and medicine. One of the reasons fighting back politically is important, because even if you try to ignore it it will eventually ruin everything you care about.
