It’s your house. You shouldn’t be made to feel like you can’t go to the bathroom, or the kitchen, or check the mail or whatever. If he doesn’t want his friends seeing you, he needs to learn how to exist in your space, not force you to relearn how to exist in your own space.

Same with me as a kid, same with my stepson now, same with his father as a kid.

I imagined they meant out of carpet, not clothing. So my train of thought was “How would you get the vinegar smell out of carpet? With a carpet cleaner? Why not just use that in the first place?”

Trying to teach kiddo that putting a bandaid on only to take it off a few minutes later is a waste. Not having success with that one.

Ghibli’s great, but skip Grave of the Fireflies. That one is depressing. Also avoid Ocean Waves, it’s got emotional abuse that just gets glossed over.
