I let my kid watch sensory videos when she was a baby. The when she was older I let her sometimes watch educational stuff. It doesn’t mean she was watching AI slop or let her choose what to watch.

We need this too. When we have a somewhat long drive I usually do all the driving because my wife hates it but she’ll sit there telling our kid she (our daughter) can’t watch the iPad while she (my wife) plays on her phone.

I always thought they just realised that making a mess is more fun, especially if there were no negative consequences the first time.
