Appropriate levels of physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep (collectively termed movement behaviours) are essential for the healthy growth and development of preschool-aged children.
This was the impetus for creating the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines for the Early Years (birth to four years). Likewise, this is why the World Health Organization adopted the Canadian guidelines when creating the global guidelines on physical activity, sedentary behaviour and sleep for children under five years of age.
Considering the extensive benefits of movement behaviours, it is very alarming that a recent study found that only 14 per cent of preschoolers around the world are meeting movement behaviour guideline recommendations.
A place to talk about parenting.
Be respectful of others’ parenting decisions.
living wages, education funding, infrastructure funding, more worker rights with more time off especially for childcare, taking care of the environment while repairing the damage already done, better access to nutritional foods, ending wars, less megacorp interests
without the human race getting these things accomplished people will become sicker, more stationary, and more mentally/physically unwell
just like Snowpiercer

Screens aren’t bad in themselves, it’s about what’s on the screens. Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Hermitcraft videos, Fediverse? Beneficial. Corporate controlled social media? Detrimental.
Edit: spelling
This is about children under 4 years old. I’d hesitate even with the content you listed.
Maybe take out some of the Fediverse, but otherwise it’s still a good list for 4 year olds and up
